R5 Alpine rockers/pushrods adjustment screws/nuts, suitable for R5A / R5AT / R5 T2 engines with sporty camshaft, parts lighter and stronger than OE
Description:
- Made of 39NiCrMo3PB + QT steel (NiCrMo)
- Active contact surfaces are nitrided to 51-52 HRC
- Having the steel quenched and tempered increases strength and rigidity compared to OE but retains elasticity and a certain amount of softness
- Multiple vibro and micro polishing operations at different stages of manufacturing to eliminate stress concentration points and to obtain contact surfaces smoothness
- Contact surface radius/size greater than OE, for better load distribution and less wear over time
Note: the cam followers, pushrods and adjustment screws were manufactured together to achieve the best fit possible. Neverteless, they can always be used with OE valve train components.
