Alpine A110 Fasa 1400, Alpine A110 / Renault 8 with an R5 Alpine engine, Dacia, Renault 5 Alpine.
The original front mounted R5 Alpine engine is quite unbalanced and has a very heavy flywheel favoring torque over revs. To use it in rear position on a lighter car or to tune it, it is wise to have a flywheel with a weight similar to the 1300 engines.
A complete 3D measurement has been performed on an original Dacia 1600 unit (6,58 kgs), the overal weight has been reduced without compromising the unit dynamics if to be used in a standard street motor. You can fit a 180 mm road or race clutch kit.
