2-way pressure valve for brass tank
Compatible with:
- Alpine A110
- Renault 8 Gordini
- Renault 12 Gordini competition / Gr.2
- Some Caravelle & Renault 4 models
Description:
- Made of tinned brass
- It connects to the cooling system through a M10 x 1mm thread and the exit of the coolant is released through a 8 mm tube
- The valve assures a pre-set pressure in the cooling system in order to avoid engine overheating
- Also transfers the coolant into the expansion tank when the pressure increases over 0,45 – 0.60 bar to protect the water pump seals integrity
- Refills the cooling system from the expansion tank when the pressure drops below -0,2 -0,3 bar
- Contrary to the original, the valve can be unscrewed for maintenance
- The parameters can be modified by changing the spring rate
