GORDINI GREMLINS Ian Schwartz

Auto Jumble Japan, 1996

A couple of japanese journalists made the trip to France, to attend Retromobile and visit all the Alpine specialists, as well as Dieppe for the new Spider. You can recognize Patrick Merlin, founder of MecaParts (started in 1988, sold in 2012) and yours truly.

Les aventures de Michel Vaillant

Forget the thin plot, the bad acting and the low budget. This was filmed in B&W in 1966 during real races including rallyes, endurance and formula. This is the chance to see Reims, Le Mans, the Targa Florio, the Nurburgring, Monaco, Sebring or Monza, with the real cars, real drivers, real mechanics and real team bosses. What a treat ! Oh, and you can see the Rédélé garage rue Forest in Paris, with a lot of Alpines… Check for the DVD with the remastered episodes and bonuses.
